Handmade Rugged Mixed Metal and Leather Purse
For the essentials...will fit phone, small wallet,  and a few other necessities.
 
The main body is black soft deerskin made from my original pattern with deerskin lace and handcut and twisted fringe detail. Back side features an exterior pocket, perfect for quick phone access.
 
The details are an innovative idea I had to bring metal and stone into the design using brass and sterling silver.  The front features a hand hammered "belly" and  purse flaps. These are all detailed by hand, stamping, punching, texturing and aging.  The luxe sterling silver accents are made by me, from scratch.  
 
The stones are set in sterling silver and are high grade hard to find blackjack turquoise i sourced.  There are two matching stones on the front, and one on the back.
 
The bag will feel tight,  but as you use it, it will slowly break in and also continue to age and deepen the rustic patina. The brass and silver can always be "re-brightened" (if preferred)  by softly rubbing 0000 steel wool on the high spots.  Let the deep spots darken.
